INTRODUCTION

rsimports (hereinafter “The Company”) is a technology and trade company that manages the platform and brand rsimports. We offer services primarily linked to e-commerce, logistics, and product sales.

The shipping services within rsimports constitute the logistical solution we offer so that Users (customers) can receive their purchases made through our digital channels (Website, Apps, Social Media).

To operate on the platform or make purchases, all Users must accept the Terms and Conditions, the annexes, and the Privacy Statement described herein.

1. rsimports and the Ecosystem

rsimports is the commercial brand under which the company operates to offer e-commerce services and technological solutions. The services available on the official website and its associated channels are designed to form an ecosystem that allows people to buy, pay, and manage shipments efficiently and securely within the Guyanese territory.

2. Acceptance of Terms

These terms regulate the relationship between rsimports and the people who use its services (“Users”). Users accept these Terms and Conditions from the moment they register on the Site, make a purchase, or use any service of the rsimports ecosystem. Modifications: When we must make important changes to our services, we will publish the modifications 10 continuous days in advance. In no case will they affect operations that have already been completed (orders already delivered).

3. Legal Capacity

Our services may be used by individuals of legal age (18 years) who have the legal capacity to contract according to the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Anyone using the platform on behalf of a company (Legal Entity) must have the legal capacity to contract in its name.

4. Registration and Account

Anyone wishing to use our registered services must complete the form with exact, precise, and true data (Name, National ID/TIN, Address, Phone). The User agrees to keep their data updated.

  • Security: The account is personal and non-transferable. The security password must be kept under strict confidentiality. The User will be solely responsible for the operations carried out from their account.
  • Veracity: rsimports may request additional information (such as a photo of the National ID or TIN) to corroborate the buyer’s identity in compliance with banking security and fraud prevention regulations current in the country.
  • Sanctions: We reserve the right to refuse a registration or cancel an account if we detect malicious use, false data, or links to illegal activities.

5. Data Privacy

At rsimports, we make responsible use of personal information, protecting the privacy of Users as established by the laws and data protection regulations in Guyana. We do not sell or share your financial information with unauthorized third parties.

6. Use of Commercial Information

rsimports uses tools to optimize the shopping experience. We may use browsing and purchase information to offer Users personalized promotions, discounts from rsimports or commercial allies, as well as to improve our fraud prevention systems.

7. Sanctions and Suspension

In the event that the User violates the law, these Terms and Conditions, or engages in fraudulent conduct (such as false payment reports or attempted scams), rsimports may warn, suspend, or temporarily or permanently disable their account and initiate the pertinent legal actions before the competent law enforcement and judicial authorities.

8. Service Responsibility

rsimports shall be responsible for any defect in the provision of its service (sale and shipping), to the extent that it is attributable to the company and within the scope provided for in the Consumer Protection legislation of Guyana.

9. Rates and Payments

rsimports charges for the sale of products and shipping services. The User agrees to pay them on time.

  • Payment Methods: The User authorizes the collection of services through the provided payment methods (Bank Transfer, Zelle, USDT, Mobile Money, or Cash in store).
  • Debts: In case of improper chargebacks or failed payments, the company reserves the right to suspend the service until the debt is settled.
  • Billing: In all cases, a commercial/tax invoice will be issued in accordance with the data (ID or TIN) supplied by the customer, following the regulations of the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA).

10. Intellectual Property

rsimports is the owner or authorized licensee of all intellectual property rights over its sites, content, services, rsimports brands, logos, designs, and images.

It is forbidden to use our content for illegal purposes, copy our database, or use our brand in a way that causes confusion to the public. The use of the platform does not imply authorization to use the Intellectual Property of rsimports without prior written consent.

11. Indemnity

The User shall hold rsimports, its directors, and employees harmless from any administrative or judicial claim initiated by third parties due to illegal activities or misuse of the platform by the User.

12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Any controversy derived from their application, interpretation, or execution will be resolved by the competent ordinary courts of Guyana.
